Pinterest is an important social media you should use near the beginning of your social media marketing process. The picture to the right is called a pin. You pin it to a Pinterest board.
If you hover over this pin, you will see a black Pinterest logo. If anyone clicks on that, they can save it to the Pinterest board of their choice.

You should probably start using Pinterest as soon as you have finished your Facebook page. You will need a photo-editing program such as Photoshop. The pin here was created with a free program called GIMP.
Your point in having a pin will be to sell people something. So, make your pin pictorially represent one main theme. An essential ingredient is having images that jump out at people. Use 13 Sources of Free Images to help you find pictures that will make people stop & stare at your pin.
Create a few boards to start your collection. The very best boards are inspiring, with beautiful images that draw people in. They’re also about a specific topic, like travel or recipes. (You’ll eventually want at least 10 boards.)
